Notification of Fee Structure Changes
Conrad Road Family Practice is committed to providing you with the highest standard of patient care. As part of our ongoing efforts to maintain the quality of our services and to keep pace with rising operational costs, we periodically review our fee structure.
After careful consideration, we have decided to adjust our fee structure effective from 1 December 2024.
The main difference is that your out-of-pocket expense will increase depending on the time and complexity of your consultation. For example, a standard consultation (under 15 minutes) will have an out-of-pocket expense of $30 compared to a long consultation (16 - 30 minutes) which will have an out-of-pocket expense of $40.
Please note that we are a mixed billing practice and fees are payable on the day. We bulk-bill standard consultations for children 15 years old and under, as well as Pensioner Concession/Health Care/ Commonwealth Seniors Health/DVA card holders.
Dr Lakmini Gunaratne
Dr Lakmini Gunaratne is leaving our practice, with her last day at the practice being 27th September 2024. Unfortunately we have not yet
found a replacement GP although we are actively seeking a new doctor to join us.
The other regular GPs at the practice are already at full capacity with their current patients and unable to take on the care of extra patients.

Short notice appointment cancellation and failed attendance disrupts service for other patients and adversely impacts the running of our practice. Providing us with a minimum 2 hours notice if you cannot attend your appointment gives us the opportunity to offer your appointment to another patient.
Please note that repeated short notice cancellations or missed appointments may result in restriction being placed on your patient record, and you will not be able to make further appointments.
Thank you for your co-operation.
New Patients
Thank you for your interest in our practice. We wish to inform you that we have temporarily halted the admission of new patients. We are doing everything we can to ensure that our current patients receive the best care possible. We will update you as soon as we are able to accept new patients again. Thank you for your understanding.
